Suhib Abbadi

Occupational Therapist

Suhib graduated from the Arab American University in Palestine in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Since then, he has accumulated over 17 years of diverse clinical experience, working across both public and private healthcare sectors in the Middle East. Suhib began his career at Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, where he spent 11 years providing occupational therapy services to children and adults with a wide range of physical, mental, and developmental conditions. His work there emphasized a holistic, patient-centered approach within multidisciplinary teams, helping to empower individuals through functional rehabilitation and adaptive strategies. Following his tenure in Sharjah, Suhib transitioned to the private sector for five years, broadening his clinical expertise and continuing to deliver individualized care across varying patient populations and therapeutic needs. Most recently, Suhib worked at a Hospital in Al Ain, where he provided inpatient rehabilitation services to individuals with complex physical impairments. His role involved assessment, intervention planning, and functional recovery programs tailored to support patients in regaining independence and improving quality of life. Suhib holds professional licensure in both Palestine and the United Arab Emirates, and his practice is guided by evidence-based methods and occupational science principles. He is passionate about fostering meaningful engagement in daily activities and maximizing each individual’s potential through therapeutic occupation.
